Secret Rendezvous: Erie Wants Darren

    There's this rumor that one day Erie saw Darren in the market and smiled at him. She knows him, obviously, and she likes him a lot. He is the kind of guy that always helps, so he finished eating his rose apple, smiled back at her, approached her, and helped her carry all her things back to the kitchen at the governor's fort, where she works.

    Once they got there, she offered him some food, as a thank you, and after Darren had finished eating, well, she asked something else of him.

    They were both very lonely. The New World is harsh. It's also too hot, too sunny, and Tars are meant for rain and cold. They could help each other out--that's how Erie put it. And in that given moment, Darren couldn't agree more.
